Incyte International: Safeguarding

Incyte International has been empowering sustainable improvement by guiding organisations toward world-class outcomes since 2005. We provide internationally renowned safeguarding advice and support to help ensure that schools, learning centers, communities and education-related businesses keep children safe.

Incyte International Safeguarding has been created to provide excellent safeguarding support, training, online learning and face-to-face development accessible to all. We provide high-quality and specialist safeguarding expertise for organisations that have a responsibility for keeping children and young adults safe. Working alongside a wide range of organisations in a supportive and caring way, we raise awareness and help to ensure that all the correct procedures and desired outcomes are in place.

Our Mission and Purpose

To help all children and young adults to live in a safe and free environment in which they can be happy, confident and secure and so allowing them the space to make a success of their lives.

Our Specialist Safeguarding Team

Highly experienced in working in a wide range of settings and is regularly trained to ensure they are fully up to date with all statutory regulations and best practices from around the world. They all have current UK-enhanced Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) checks.

  • Caroline McKee

    DIRECTOR

    Caroline is the lead director for safeguarding and project manages all contracts, training and the Excellence in Safeguarding Awards.

  • Malcolm Greenhalgh

    DIRECTOR

    Malcolm supports all quality assurance activities and liaises with the schools and the safeguarding team to help ensure excellence.

  • Gulshan Kayembe

    DIRECTOR AND LEAD SPECIALIST

    Gulshan has advised the police, councils, schools and learning centres. She is Incyte’s lead specialist consultant for safeguarding.

  • Deborah Wring

    SAFEGUARDING TEAM LEADER

    Deborah is the author/ writer of Incyte’s quarterly safeguarding newsletter. She leads safeguarding reviews in schools nationally.

  • Dr. Joanna Goodman

    SAFEGUARDING TEAM MEMBER

    Joanna is highly experienced in all phases of educations. She has particular expertise working with SEND and FMCos.

  • Peter Bailey

    SAFEGUARDING TEAM MEMBER

    Peter is an experienced safeguarding expert and conducts audits in FMCos and schools. He is a SEND specialist and a valued trainer.

    SAFEGUARDING TEAM MEMBER

    Shirley is an expert in safeguarding and the pastoral and behaviour management sectors . She regularly trains and reviews for Incyte.

    Jeremy regularly leads safeguarding audits and training for Incyte focusing mainly in the primary sector.

    Andrew conducts safeguarding reviews for schools and for FMCos. He focuses mainly on primary and early years..

    Mick has conducted safeguarding reviews for over 20 years for Ofsted. He works in all phases and is a SEND specialist..

    David is an experienced safeguarding expert working in all phases of education. He regularly conducts audits and reviews for Incyte.

  • Ian Moore

    DIRECTOR AND TEAM MEMBER

    Ian regularly audits for Incyte in FMCos and all phases of education. He is a governor in a primary school and leads on their safeguarding.

  • Dr. Stephen Hopkins

    SAFEGUARDING TEAM MEMBER

    Stephen is currently the safeguarding trustee within a MAT and conducts safeguarding audits for Incyte and a number of academies.
